Film analyst Vinod Mirani said, "Since there is adequate curiosity around the film it will do well among the Indian audiences. The film has done well in English and now that it is dubbed in Hindi many people would want to experience the film on the big screen."

43-year-old A R Rahman today got himself nominated for three Academy awards for his score in British-Indian movie "Slumdog Millionaire". Rahman was nominated for Best Original Score and the numbers 'Jai Ho' and 'O Saya' were shortlisted for the Best Original Song.

Slumdog Millionaire was in all shortlisted for 10 categories including best film and best director. Rahman added that "Something good is happening and I am really happy about it," Rahman became the first Indian to win a triple Oscar nomination.

Earlier this month, Rahman won Golden Globes award. Danny Boyle and Simon Beaufoy were shortlisted for best director and best adapted screenplay categories.

Indian The Best Music director A.R. Rahman has won a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Score for his music in British director Danny Boyle's uplifting underdog tale 'Slumdog Millionaire'.

Slumdog Millionaire' won two awards from the Los Angeles Film Critics Association - Best Director for Boyle and Best Music for Rahman. It also won the runner-up prize for Best Cinematography for Anthony Dod Mantle.
